The two ground floor apartments have tiled floors throughout; the apartments on the second and third floors have wood floors in living area and bedroom, and tiles in kitchen and bath areas. Each apartment is 35 square meters in size. Apartment 6, on the third floor, is a studio apartment, with modern kitchen, built-in cupboards, a high-quality bath with shower, a partly-roofed terrace overlooking the sea, and a rooftop terrace offering a 360 degree vista of the city and the sea.

Currently, the building operates as an apart-hotel, with the furnished apartments rented out for short, medium, or longer terms. It is administered and managed by a local hostel owner, who has years of experience with travellers and tourists. It has an average gross income of $3000 per month. The contract regarding this use of the building ends July 31, 2010.

Since the building was designed as a vacation condominium, for people wishing to have a pied-a-terre in Valparaiso, apartments 1-5 can be sold individually; each one has its own legal status. Apt. 6, the studio apartment, belongs to Apt. 5.
